I think the laywer is just being rude to Steve is because she not trying to be his bestfriend. She is just trying to prove him innocent and if she can do that she does not want to be at fault for it. \nAnswer to question 4- I think that Steve is just trying to stay strong but it is really affecting him cause he seems to be the one everyone is blaming. King has alot of people that say there witness that saw him the time of the murder i think there just trying to cover for him. He is the one that robbed and killed the store clerk. Not Steve.
